Our unique difference from other online tailor stores are that we are a marketplace. When you like a shirt or fabric you can see who will make that shirt for you. Currently we have tailors from Hong Kong, with more tailors joining from Italy, Turkey, UK, Vietnam. India and Australia. At Shimble we exercise some very strict quality controls in our selection for the tailor so we know that we will only bring you a tailor who we can trust and that who will deliver to you the highest quality in fashion.
We know there are plenty of people out there who will charge you $200++ for a single hand-made shirt with fabric probably coming from the same cotton mills as ours. But we don't do retail shops, we don't charge you for ridiculous overheads, and we ship directly to you! We keep our costs down, so we can pass the savings onto you directly.
Our business is largely online, apart from the tailoring of course. This lets us save on numerous costs that we pass on directly to you. Once your shirt has been made and passes our stringent quality control checks and processes, the tailor neatly pack your shirt and ship it to you directly using Global Express Shipping (E.g. Toll, DHL, FedEx depending on your location). You can track the status of your order in My Account
Usually between 2-3 weeks. All our shirts are hand crafted and hand stitched. This means that our tailors do not machine cut or block cut any of our fabrics in advance. We allow extra time for quality control which usually means your shirt will arrive to you within 2-3 weeks of ordering. You can track the status of your order in My Account or contact us at support@shimble.com if you have any questions about your order.
We have partnered with a company out of Silicon Valley called Stripe who now operate in Australia. Stripe processes your payments securely, without hassle, and integrates seamlessly with our website. It allows us to keep our costs down but also partner with a company that has a proven track record and global presence. Learn more about Stripe on their website. Despite this, we still use 128-bit SSL secure certificates where we ask for any of your personal details in order to ensure that we keep your information secure.
Currently, we are shipping to Australia, Hong Kong & Italy We are looking to expand our reach in the very near future, but if you really love our shirts and reside in a country not listed above, please do contact us and we'll see what we can do for you!
At Shimble every single one of our shirts are specifically designed, hand cut, and 'tailored to you'. So if you change your mind on a particular style or fabric we unfortunately cannot accept a return for refund. But if you are not 100% happy about something, get in touch and we'll see how we can help! But, if we've somehow managed to send you the wrong shirt or the incorrect order to what you asked for you don't have to send it back to the tailor. We've partnered with local alteration agencies and will be delighted to fix it or replace your shirt ! If this happens, please send us an email at support@shimble.com. The more details the better (description of the problem and photos if possible) so we can help you faster. We will then contact with you as soon as possible to get you the right shirt in as little time as possible!
